Titta earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information Systems from Georgia College & State University in 1998 and pursued a career in Information Technology for the next 10 years. Later Titta received an "invitation" from God to find her passion in life and entrusted her faith, not without struggle, in God to transition into a new career for a period of 2 years. She continued and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Communications from Westwood College in 2009.
In transitioning careers, Titta participated in the Georgia Department of Labor's "Georgia Works” program, which allowed employers to train potential employees to determine if they are a right fit for the job before hiring them. To Titta, this opportunity allowed her to "get a foot in the door” for potential employment while learning new skills. After a 6 week training period, Titta was offered employment and began her career in Workforce and Career Development. Titta earned her facilitating credentials in career development and is now a Career Development Facilitator Instructor as a member of the National Career Development Association (NCDA).
Titta now passionately serves as a Career Development Professional helping others explore career options and job opportunities that best meet their passions, skills, and talents into the workforce. Titta's ultimate goal is to help others use their natural given talents to find a career with a sense of fulfillment and purpose. Titta calls her mission, "Butterfly Faith" by helping others to learn, grow, transform and fly; just as she has in her own career and life.
Titta is currently employed with Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia & the CSRA, in the Workforce Development mission services department. She reaches out to various community organizations and schools in the area conducting workshops about career planning and job readiness for employment; tailoring each session for specific target audiences such as at-risk youth, unemployed or dislocated workers, veterans, and returning citizens. She is a member of First Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where she continues to carry her passion through various ministries such as the 2-N-1 ministry where she holds Toddler Church teaching social development skills and Career Ministry serving as a Youth Career Advisor introducing career and life development skills. She also reaches out to teen mentoring groups in the area to speak on the skills of workplace readiness.
